International Analysis

Reflective practice for change
This course examines the complex layers of global economic, political, and socio-cultural dynamics through the approach of critical social analysis, inspired by Paulo Freire's pedagogy. This 10-session course equips learners with the tools to understand and critically analyze international relationships and systems, encouraging a deeper comprehension of globalization and its impacts on local and global scales.
Each session explores a different aspect of international affairs, including global economics, political structures, socio-cultural transformations, and environmental challenges. Participants will engage in diverse, practical tasks, culminating in the creation of an International Analysis Workbook, which consolidates their analyses into a reflective and comprehensive portfolio.

This course is ideal for students, professionals, and anyone interested in the complexities of global interdependencies and their implications for social justice and equity. Join us to enhance your critical analytical skills, and become empowered to contribute thoughtfully to discussions and initiatives on international issues.
